Insured: I carry general liability insurance as a handyman/construction business. I am not a contractor as I have no employees. I consider myself a sub-contractor in the building trades that I have developed sufficient skill to serve the needs of home and business owners.
Licensed: The State of Montana has granted me an Independent Contractor certificate as a Handyman. This means that I am responsible for all of my own insurance and taxes.

Hourly Rate: Most of my work is done on a time and materials basis. Upon request I give an estimate of what I think the project will cost. As of October 1, 2018 my rate is $40.00 per/hour. I give discounts in some situation.
Experience: I grew up building barns, horse shelters, and fixing up old houses with my step-father. I put myself through college and graduate school working construction jobs with various contractors. I was a sub-contractor for about 7 years of my life installing cultured marble bathrooms in the greater Salt Lake City area. I have been around various construction projects 
all my life.
